MMMM ACQUIRES ROYAL SERVICES, INC. WITH OPERATIONS THROUGHOUT FLORIDA

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA, November 1, 2003 – In one of the most significant developments in the building services industry this year, Tim Murch, CBSE, president of Mitch Murch’s Maintenance Management Co. (MMMM), announced that his company haspurchased Royal Services, Inc., one of Florida’s most respected and oldest contract cleaning firms, from the Rosenbloom family. Royal Services, Inc. was started in 1909, and has operations throughout Florida in Jacksonville , Orlando , Tampa and Miami and is one of the most respected contract cleaning companies in Florida .   The name will be slightly changed to Royal Services, a Division of MMMM.  MMMM celebrated its 25th anniversary October 1.

MMMM is headquartered out of St. Louis with more than 2,400 employees in 350 accounts servicing over 35 million square feet every day and night throughout Missouri, Illinois, Indiana,  Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan and now Florida.  The transaction is a perfect fit for both companies and their Florida customers, as they provide supervised cleaning of some of the most prestigious facilities, SaniGlaze tile and grout restoration services, carpet cleaning, power washing, construction cleanups, and other specialized services.    The purchase includes all of Royal’s contracts, equipment, management and employees.  Chip Wilkening, CBSE will serve as the Southeast Division Vice President, and manage the current Royal team.  “The Royal acquisition will allow us to use their prestigious accounts as a platform to effectively grow the Southeast Division into Georgia , Alabama , Mississippi , North and South Carolina ,” said Wilkening. 

With the addition of the Royal accounts, MMMM will have more than 7 million square feet of commercial office property, corporate headquarters, entertainment parks, schools and manufacturing facilities under contract throughout Florida, and will bring its total company annual sales volume to more than $40 million.
