CEO and Managing Partner
Tim has led 4M to become a multi-regional industry leading company. His passion for the industry is demonstrated by driving 4M’s strategic plan and vision. Tim also has served or serves on many boards: three terms on the Board of Directors of Building Services Contractors International (BSCAI), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the World Federation of Building Services Contractors (WFBSC), and UMB Bank. He is the long-time chairman of the Buddy Fund, which provides sporting equipment to at-risk, disadvantaged youth. He also is an active member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), a founder and managing partner of the National Service Alliance (NSA) and member of YPO. Tim’s philosophy is always to give back as much, if not more, than he can to the community, personally and professionally, to make our community better in every way, all while balancing his business, family, and personal life.
Steven Crain, CBSE
Chief Operating Officer and President
Steve joined 4M in 1987 in a sales role and has risen to oversee the entire organization’s operations. Steve plays a crucial role in defining and driving 4M’s strategic growth. In addition to strategic planning, he actively participates in quarterly Customer Partnering Reviews. He has been instrumental in supporting and implementing systems standardized methodology across quality, training, and human resources departments. He is an active member of BOMA, IFMA, ISSA, and BSCAI, where he just completed a five-year term on the Board of Directors.
Judy A. Botz, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Judy joined 4M Building Solutions in April 2015, bringing her nine years of experience in the facilities service industry. Judy is a hands-on CFO, managing all financial aspects, from banking relationships to audits to system upgrades and implementation. Judy is a licensed CPA and a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Dan Cline II, CBSE
Executive Vice President, Mid-South Division
Dan joined 4M Building Solutions in 2001 when he sold his janitorial services company to 4M, bringing over 20 years of experience in the facilities service industry. In his current role, Dan leads operations in the Midwest and Southeast, which includes a multi-state territory of Missouri, Texas, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Florida. A member of 4M’s Executive Leadership Team, he enjoys participating in Customer Partnering Reviews. Under Dan’s direction, his division earned the Albert E. Wilson Division of the Year award in 2007- 2019 and was recognized as the “Safest” Division in the Company since 2008. He is also an active member of BOMA, IFMA, and BSCAI.
Josh Hendricks
Executive Vice President, Sales, and Marketing
Josh joined 4M Building Solutions in 2015. In his present role, he leads all aspects of Sales & Marketing and serves on 4M’s Executive Leadership Team. Prior to taking on sales in 2021, Josh worked in operations, leading the 4M Central Division and working closely with customers to ensure the best level of service. Josh brings the customer’s perspective to 4M. His previous positions required expertise in corporate real estate management operations, asset management, and financial performance, skills he applied at mixed-use properties, Class A offices, corporate facilities, industrial sites, and shopping centers. Josh holds a degree in business management from Saint Louis University, a Missouri Real Estate License, and a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation. He is an active member of the Building Services Contractors Association International (BSCAI), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), International Facility Management Association (IFMA), and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Tom Covilli, CIH
Vice President, Safety & Risk Management
Tom is responsible for safety policy and procedures, developing and delivering safety training programs, conducting hazard and risk assessments, and claims management for workers’ compensation and general liability. Tom leads the Corporate Safety Committee with extensive experience developing loss prevention programs and in OSHA compliance. Tom is a member of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). Since 1987, he has been a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
Karina Villasenor
Vice President, Human Resources
Since 2007, Karina has been integral in standardizing our corporate-wide recruiting process, including all pre-employment screening. She oversees daily HR operations, ensuring all recruitment, benefits, and labor relations practices are upheld to the highest standard of compliance throughout our 27 state markets. She is well-versed in operations and finance, having previous experience in both. Karina is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Michael Fitts, MBA
Executive Vice President, Gateway Division
In July 2017, 4M added Michael L. Fitts to its Executive Leadership Team as Executive Vice President. He oversees the Gateway Division, a portfolio of accounts spread across a multi-state market including Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio, and the 4M Healthcare Division in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Before 4M, Michael had a distinguished 24-year career in the United State Marine Corps. He served numerous deployments in the Middle East and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Michael has a master’s in Management (Finance) and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
Steve Mastin
Chief Financial Officer - 4M Building Holdings
Steve Mastin came on board in Spring 2024 in the newly created post of chief financial officer of 4M Building Holdings. Mr. Mastin is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the 4M platform, including consolidated areas such as IT, human resources, risk management, integration, and M&A. Steve brings two decades of experience in various senior leadership roles in finance, accounting, CFO, and CEO roles. He has led financial transformations, spearheaded integration efforts, and driven growth in a broad range of business sectors. Steve is highly regarded for his strategic financial leadership and his ability to optimize business performance while maintaining a strong focus on organizational growth and profitability. Most recently, Steve was the vice president of finance for Team Services Group, a sponsor-backed provider of self-directed home care and household workers nationwide. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Fontbonne University.
Andrew Rust
Head of Corporate Development & M&A
Andrew joined 4M as Head of Corporate Development and M&A in Spring 2024 responsible for developing and executing on 4M’s acquisition strategy while supporting the company’s earned reputation as the “acquirer of choice” among commercial cleaning companies. Andrew brings over a decade of experience in finance, operations, corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Having closed more than 30 transactions representing over $700 million in value, Andrew is an expert in acquiring and partnering with founder-led businesses. His deep expertise in understanding the unique needs of founder-led companies ensures smooth transitions and value creation for all stakeholders. Most recently, Andrew was Chief Financial Officer and Head of M&A for Granite Comfort, a sponsor-backed residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical contractor. Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
