Tim M. Murch, CBSE
Chairman, CEO
Tim has led 4M to become a multi-regional company, operating in 14 states, with $60,000,000 in sales annually and over 3,000 Team Members. Tim is actively involved and accessible with all key customers. His vision and passion for the industry is demonstrated by driving 4M’s strategic plan and vision: We Are The Absolute Best Buildings Solutions Partner.
In addition to leading 4M, Tim also has served or serves on many boards: three terms on the Board of Directors of Building Services Contractors International (BSCAI), the World Federation of Building Services Contractors (WFBSC), UMB Bank and Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Tim is an active member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). He is managing partner and owner of the National Service Alliance (NSA), an industry specific general purchasing organization and YPO-WPO. He is also an active member of the 4M Executive Leadership Team. He is currently chairman of the Buddy Fund, which provides sporting equipment for at-risk, disadvantaged kids. Tim is truly committed to sustainably: he was a stakeholder in the original Green Seal Committee that helped developed the standard established for green cleaning.
Tim’s philosophy is to always give back as much, if not more, than he can to the community and industry, personally and professionally, in order to make our community and industry better in every way while balancing his business, family and personal life.
Steven Crain, CBSE
President, COO
Steve joined 4M in 1987 and has been a key contributor to 4M’s growth through his current role, as well as previous roles in sales and marketing. In his current role, Steve oversees sales and operations of the entire company. Steve plays a key role defining and driving 4M’s strategic growth. He leads all aspects from development of innovative solutions through ensuring achievement of corporate goals.
In addition to strategic planning, he’s an active participant in our Customer Partnering Reviews. Steve is extremely customer-focused and makes it a point to remain easily accessible to 4M’s clients. He has been instrumental in the support, training and implementation of 4M’s unique systems and processes. Steve serves on the Board of Directors and leads both the Executive Leadership Team and Strategic Planning Committee. He is an active member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), International Facility Management Association (IFMA), ISSA—The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association and Building Services Contractors International (BSCAI).
Judy Botz, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Judy joined 4M Building Solutions in April 2015 and brought with her nine years of experience in the facilities service industry. Judy is a hands-on CFO, managing everything from banking relationships to system upgrades and implementation. Judy is a licensed CPA and a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Her past experience includes working for privately-held companies with revenues ranging from $12 million up to $500 million, a company owned by a capital management firm, a large publically-traded manufacturing corporation performing internal audits, and five years’ experience at public accounting firms, including a Big Four CPA firm. Judy is an active member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Dan Cline II, CBSE
Executive Vice President
Dan joined 4M Building Solutions in 2001 when he sold his company to 4M and brought over 20 years of experience in the facilities service industry with him. Starting as a branch manager, his proven leadership qualities and consistent record of achievement lead him to be promoted to executive vice president. In his current role, Dan oversees all operations in Central and Southeast United States with a portfolio of over 50 million square feet. Dan has a proven track record of success within his areas of responsibility and has broad experience in all aspects of the cleaning industry, including office, industrial, educational, medical and corporate services operations. He is an active member of 4M’s Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors and Strategic Planning Committee. Under Dan’s direction, his division has earned the Albert E. Willson Division of the Year award in seven out of the last eight years, along with being recognized as the “safest” division in the company in every year since 2008. He is an active member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), International Facility Management Association (IFMA), ISSA—The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association and Building Services Contractors International (BSCAI).
Josh Hendricks, CSM
Vice President, Central Division
Josh joined 4M Building Solutions in 2015. In his current role, he leads all aspects of operations for the 4M Gateway Division and works very closely with our customers to ensure we are providing the best level of service. Josh oversees operations exceeding 35 million square feet throughout the Midwest. With an extensive background of commercial property management for multiple assets, Josh brings the customer’s perspective to 4M. His previous positions have required a specialty in corporate real estate management operations, asset management and financial performance. Throughout his career, his property experience includes mixed-use properties, Class A office, and many types of shopping centers. Josh holds a degree in business management from Saint Louis University and a CSM designation (Certified Shopping Center Manager). Josh serves on 4M’s Executive Leadership Team. He is also an active member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), International Facility Management Association (IFMA), and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Tom Covilli, CIH
Vice President, Safety and Risk Management
Tom has over 30 years of expertise and experience in safety, risk, and environmental affairs management. In his current role, Tom is responsible for safety policy, procedure development and implementation, development and delivery of safety training programs, conducting hazard and risk assessments for new and existing accounts, and claims management for workers compensation and general liability. In addition to overseeing all safety operations at 4M, Tom leads the Corporate Safety Committee Team. He also participates in Customer Partner Reviews (CPRs), where his expertise in safety offers another source of value for 4M clients. Tom brings depth and experience to these areas, having directed the corporate health and safety program, as well as regional programs, for a large industrial services contractor for 11 years prior to joining 4M. He has extensive experience in developing loss prevention programs and has spent much of his career training employees with varied backgrounds and disciplines in OSHA compliance. Tom serves on 4M’s Executive Leadership Team and is a member of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), as well as having been a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) since 1987.
Karina Villasenor
Vice President, Human Resources
Since 2007, Karina has been an integral part of standardizing our corporate-wide recruiting process, including all pre-employment screening. She oversees daily HR operations, ensuring all practices related to recruitment, benefits and labor relations are upheld to the highest standard. Karina also oversees the hiring and screening of all 3,000 4M employees. Karina participates throughout the country in hiring staff for new accounts and is well-versed in operations and finance, having previous experience in both areas. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Karina is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Lawrence (Larry) P. Bush
Executive Vice President, Business Development
Larry joined 4M Building Solutions in 2015 bringing experience in the performance improvement, payments and consumer packaged goods industries to 4M. He has experience in sales, sales management, business unit management, finance and has been both a COO and CEO leading $50MM - $200MM divisions/companies.
Larry will lead all sales and marketing efforts for 4M and is a proven leader with demonstrated value in sitting at the client table focusing on the clients’ success. He has participated in multiple clients’ annual strategy meetings and the underlying tactical implementation, creating relationships that are viewed as a trusted partner.
Larry has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Missouri with emphasis in Marketing and Accounting. He also is the inventor of an Insurance Claim Payment Card System patent.
Michael Fitts
Vice President, Gateway Division
In July 2017 4M added Michael L. Fitts to its Executive Leadership Team as a Division Vice President, taking over responsibility for the Gateway Division. Michael comes to 4M after a distinguished career in the United State Marine Corp. Michael was a Lieutenant Colonel serving in numerous deployments in the Middle East. Michael has an M.S. in Management (Finance) and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
