4M has received the GREENGUARD® certification for low-emitting interior building materials, furnishings and finish systems. All GREENGUARD® Certified Products have been tested for more than 10,000 chemicals to ensure they are safe and healthy.
In addition, 4M provides support to many of our customers working toward obtaining Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification through the United States Green Building Council program.
4M has earned numerous certifications including the Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Cleaning Industry Management Standard – Green Business (CIMS – GB) both with Honors from ISSA, the International Sanitary and Supply Association. Less than 1% of the 75,000 janitorial services companies across the United States achieve this certification and even less receive them with Honors.
The Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE) and Registered Building Service Manager (RBSM) certification designations signify that an individual has demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to perform competently in the building services profession. Numerous 4M managers have obtained and uphold these prestigious certifications.
Our safety personnel hold a Certification in Industrial Hygiene – CIH. With this certification, individuals are experts in the Health Risk Analysis & Hazard Communication, IH Program Management, Radiation — Ionizing and Non-ionizing, Work Environments & Industrial Processes, Biohazards, Toxicology, Community Exposure, Air Sampling and more.
It was like a breath of fresh air when 4M took over janitorial services at our building in Kansas City, Missouri, in June of 2002. I have consistently seen cleaning done in this building by 4M that has never been done since the building opened. The 4M management team has done an outstanding job resolving any issues that do occur.
