Electrostatic Spray Disinfection Services

What Is Electrostatic Disinfection?

Electrostatic spray surface disinfecting is the highly effective process of spraying an electrostatically charged disinfecting mist onto surfaces and objects. Charged disinfectant particles are attracted to the entirety of all surfaces. For awkwardly shaped objects and hard-to-reach places, our Disinfection Specialists only have to point and spray. After the spray is applied, the disinfectant will take less than 5 minutes to kill 99.99% of all pathogens.

How Does Electrostatic Disinfection Work?

Benefits of Electrostatic Spray Disinfection:

Increase Effectiveness: Entire surface coverage for complete disinfection of all designated areas. All 4M’s disinfectants are OSHA, EPA and CDC approved and compliant.

Better Efficiency: Safer and more consistent application. No disruption to existing areas, papers, electronics, or surfaces with quick kill time and no residue.

Can Safely Be Sprayed On: Keyboards, phones, copiers and all other electronic high-touch areas without damage or concern.

High Touchpoint Disinfection Services

What are “Touchpoints”?

Health officials identify “Touchpoints” as surfaces that come into frequent contact with multiple people. Touchpoints refer to areas that see heavy traffic and contact. This might include items and areas like light switches, doorknobs, handles, elevator buttons, handrails, restroom fixtures, desk areas and various other locations. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s vital that those areas are thoroughly and regularly cleaned and disinfected to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and influenza.

How are “Touchpoints” Disinfected?

4M Disinfection Specialists use CDC-recommended and EPA-registered and approved disinfectants that are considered low hazard and don’t have a harsh chemical smell. Different disinfectants have different requirements for how long the disinfectant takes to kill pathogens. 4M uses disinfectants with a 1 to 5 minute kill time depending on the product used. Microfiber application with the disinfectant is required to ensure the proper treatment of all surfaces and ensure disinfection.
